Unilateral or bilateral partial mastectomy

In order to get the right breast form size, you'll need two specific measurements:

- The band size (measure around the breastbone)
- The cup size (measure around the chest, at the nipple)

Step 1
MEASURE BAND SIZE
Measure the distance around the torso at the lower rib cage.

Step 2
MEASURE CUP SIZE
Measure the distance around the torso at the nipple line.

61 to 70 cm = band 32
71 to 80 cm = band 34
81 to 90 cm = band 36
91 to 101 cm = band 38
102 to 111 cm = band 40
112 cm to 121 cm = band 42
122 cm to 131 cm = band 44
132 cm to 141 cm = band 46
142 cm to 151 cm = band 48
152 cm+ = band 50

To get the CUP SIZE we'll need to get the
difference between this measurement and the BAND measurement,
using this formula:

CUP MEASURE - BAND MEASURE = CUP SIZE

Equivalences:
From 0 to 4 cm: A cup
From 5 to 7 cm: B cup
From 8 to 11 cm: C cup
From 12 to 15 cm: D cup
More than 15 cm: DD cup

Bilateral complete mastectomy

When no breast tissue remains, the cup measurement is at the discretion of the patient—she may choose the size with which she is most comfortable.

Use the chart below to find your ideal size in our Mia breast forms. First, find your band size on the left, and then your cup size across the top. Your Mia breast form size will be to the right of your selected cup size. In the example below, the patient's band/cup combination is 40-C, resulting in a Mia 450g breast prosthesis.
